- To Get A Super Green Lawn, Use 13–13–13 All Purpose Fertilizer- It is best to apply this fertilizer right before it rains. If there is no rain in the forecast, make sure to water your yard thoroughly. I use a spreader and walk the entire yard to spread out evenly.
- Set Your Mowers Blade Cutting Height To Medium High- If you want a thick, carpet-like lawn, don’t set your mower blade at a low setting. You should select the height right under the highest setting on your mower.
- For A Crisp Finish, Edge Your Lawn And Fence With Your Weed Eater- I hate to see a person cut their lawn and call it a finished job without edging it. Some people use a lawn edger to get the job done, but you can use your weed eater to do the same thing.
- Water Your Lawn- If you live in a region where the temperature is very hot, make sure you keep your lawn watered. This will keep you from having a brown lawn instead of a green one.
- Spray Or Have Your Yard Sprayed For Weeds- You do not want to have a lawn full of crabgrass, monkey grass, or wild onions. Invest in a good environmentally safe weed killer or hire a company such as TruGreen to service your yard regularly.
