- If Things Do Not Work Out Relationship Wise, You Still Have To See That Person Every Day- If you have a relationship outside of work and it does not work out it is fine. You never have to see that person again if you choose to. If a relationship goes bad with someone that you work with, you still have to see them every day. Think about that before you ask your cube mate for their phone number.
- Issues From Off The Clock Can Carry Over To On The Clock- An argument before bed will still be fresh on your mind while you are at work with each other. You do not want to embarrass yourself by having an open argument while at work.
- You Never Get A Chance To Miss The Other Person- When you are in a relationship, you love being around that person. We also are human and may need a break from that person from time to time. If you are together all the time, outside of work, then work together, when will you get a chance to miss the person?
- Dating Someone You Work With Could Be A Conflict Of Interest- What if you are dating the HR Rep and for some reason, they have to inform you that you have been fired. How do you think that will affect your relationship outside of work? One person will be stuck in an…
