  1. You don’t want to become grandparents before you should.
  2. Kids are becoming more curious at a younger age about sex.
  3. You don’t want them guessing about what sex is.
  4. You want them to learn from you what sex education entails so they won’t have to lean on learning from their friends.
  5. It’s better to be too early than too late.
  6. It will allow your kid to feel comfortable coming to you and talking about certain things sexually.
  7. You can give them advice and share stories with them concerning the missteps you may have taken growing up.
  8. Social media and tv are always pushing sex in the public eye. Those eyes include your kids so explain to them what they are seeing.
  9. Kids need to know the consequences of having sex which could be early pregnancy or sexually transmitted diseases that can be caught.
  10. Your kids may already have questions that they want to ask but maybe afraid to talk to you.
