  1. You Never Know What The Person You Are Honking At Is Going Through- There have been times when I had a lot on my mind, and it affected my driving. With your thoughts occupied, you didn’t even notice that you were driving 50 mph on a 70 mph interstate. People zone out dealing with life sometimes, so try to remember that before you lay on the horn.
  2. The Person Could Be Lost- Before I even think about blowing my horn, I look at the person’s license plate to see if they are out of town. If they are, it is a good chance they are driving slow because they are lost.
  3. They Could Be A New Driver- I remember when I turned 14 and started driving. I was nervous as hell and the last thing I needed was someone honking their horn behind me because I was driving slow.
  4. They Could Be Ready To Snap, And Your Horn Just Pushed Them Over The Edge- What is your game plan if you honk your horn at the guy in the picture above and he pulls up next to you? There are people in this world who are dealing with mental health issues. You do not want a horn to be the cause of a bad day for you.
  5. Road Rage And Interstate Shootings Are Real- I see stories about road rage and interstate shootings way too…
