- Have Some Candles Or Flashlights Available That Can Provide A Source Of Light
- With No Heat Coming Into Your Home, Dress In Layers
- Try To Keep Your Refrigerator Closed As Long As Possible So The Cold Air Won’t Escape
- Familiarize Yourself With How To Make Peanut Butter And Jelly Sandwiches
- Even With No Power, Don’t Forget You Can Charge Your Phone In Your Car
- If You Have Curtains On Your Windows, Close Them To Block Out Cold Air
- If You Have A Generator, Use It
- Have Some Movies Loaded On Your Laptop Or iPad To Watch- Try not to use your phone to watch movies because you want your phone to have power.
- If It Gets Too Cold, Retreat To A Family Or Friends Home If Available
- Learn How To Disengage Your Garage Door In Case You Need To Leave
