My Top 10 Things I Hate About Racism

Don’t Get Offended This Is My Damn List (No Particular Order)

1. Before you ever hear a word from my mouth just by site a negative opinion can be formed.
2. Older racists were once innocent kids. No one that I’m aware of comes out of the womb a racist. It’s something that is taught.
3. Innocent people get killed because of their skin color or religion. No other reason than those two things. There is something wrong with that.
4. It keeps you from being able to branch out and see things from another person’s view that isn’t like yours.
5. It stops some people from being able to advance in their careers.
6. The fact that some people really honestly believe that there should only be one race of people.
7. Living conditions for some and the lack of attention that political figures pay to certain areas occupied by a certain race.
8. Racism cost some people money. Every time they have to paint over a racist remark or replace damaged property that’s money out of their pocket that they shouldn’t have to spend.
9. The fact that some people in this country have to deal with racism every day is mind blowing. From unpleasant stares, physical harm to just being ignored is a lot to deal with every day.
10. I don’t think it will ever be a day when it doesn’t exist. It’s 2021 and articles like this one are still being written and complained about.
