- The Focus Being On The Highlights
- The Classic Catch Phrases From The Sportscasters- Phrases like, “He must be butter, because he’s on a roll” or “He’s as cool as the other side of the pillow” or “Back, back, back, back, back, goneeeeee” will never be forgotten.
- The Signature Dun Dun Dun, Dun Dun Dun Opening Theme Music
- The Repeat Episodes- In an era when there was no internet and no smartphones, your only way of seeing sports highlights was watching them on ESPN. If you missed a highlight on one show, you could catch it on the repeat episode.
- Damn Near Being Late For School Because You Wanted To Stay And Watch ESPN Highlights In The Morning
- The Funny Athlete Commercials
- Not Having All Of These Talking Heads Screaming Back And Forth At Each Other- It gets annoying hearing grown-ass men screaming at each other over who’s opinion is right.
