- Having Sex- For this first one, I can attest first hand, this is something that a kid does not want to see. I remember being very young, and it was a Saturday morning. I crawled into my parent’s room, ready to hop in their bed to watch cartoons. When I entered the room, pops was already in hopping mode. Although I didn’t know what was going on, I knew something wasn’t right.
- Arguing In Front Of Them- As parents, one thing you should try to avoid is having serious arguments in front of your kids. Sometimes in the heat of the moment, words may come out of your mouth that a child shouldn’t hear.
- Doing Any Illegal Drugs- If you have a drug habit, please do not expose your kids to it. It could scar them mentally and even affect them in their personal lives down the road.
- Domestic Violence- No child should ever witness seeing either of their parents put their hands on the other in an aggressive manner.
- Stealing- Your kids should never witness you stealing from a store or an individual. What kind of example would you be setting if you displayed that type of behavior?
