  1. We need to find a way to be able to do something with all of the food we throw away every day. There is so much food that gets thrown away from buffets and restaurants everyday it’s not funny. I know for health and safety reasons you can’t give out that food but come on. How can we justify filling up dumpsters instead of bellies with food?
  2. We have splash pads in cities across America for our kids to enjoy and play in the water. Why can’t we have outdoor shower stations for the homeless so they can take regular showers?
  3. Build tiny home communities or pods for people who are homeless. This would be expensive I know but I see plenty of outdoor storage units being built and put up. Instead of storing old mattresses store humans who need help.
  4. Provide a free option on certain days for the homeless to be able to go and get their hair washed and groomed.
  5. Provide hygiene bags for men and women. Fill them up with deodorant, toothpaste, soap, tooth brushes, toilet paper, and feminine products.
  6. If you have a business hire them. There are homeless people with talents that I wish I had. Just because they are down on their luck now doesn’t mean they don’t have ideas or…
