  1. Make Up In Your Mind That You Are Done- Sometimes, the best way to kick a bad habit is to make up in your mind that you are done and want to make a change. You can get all the outside help in the world, but you won’t change until you are ready.
  2. Don’t Put Yourself In The Environment Of The Habit- If you know you have a gambling habit and are trying to kick this habit, don’t go to casinos. To not be tempted to do whatever your vice is, you need to remove yourself from those environments.
  3. Seek Professional Help- To kick some habits such as drug addiction or alcoholism, you may need to reach out for professional help. There are great programs, facilities, and professionals who can help you get over your habit.
  4. Pray About It- The first thing you should do, in my opinion, when dealing with a habit is to pray about it. Everyone isn’t into religion, but I know the man upstairs can help you when no one else can. Don’t be shy to take your issues to him first and see what happens.
  5. Research And See If There Are Alternatives For Your Habit- Let’s say you are addicted to smoking cigarettes and nicotine, an alternative would be choosing the patch or Nicorette gum. Do some research and see if there are other…
