  1. Put Some Thought Into It- Sometimes, date night can turn into a routine. To keep things interesting, try to come up with new ideas or places to go. You don’t have to overthink it but at least think it.
  2. Find Out What The Other Person Likes To Do- If you are planning a first date, I hope you have been using your ears to listen. What do I mean? In conversation, the person might have dropped a couple of clues about the things they enjoy doing. If you picked up on those, you could incorporate some of those things into the date.
  3. Think Outside The Box- Going to the movies or bowling on a date is fine, but it has been done a million times. To impress your date, plan something that they might not have thought about doing.
  4. Don’t Be Afraid To Search Google For Ideas- I’ve gone to Google a few times to search for date ideas. It is a wide world out there and some people have some great ideas that you can borrow.
  5. Don’t Wait Until The Last Minute To Start Planning- Waiting until the last minute to plan a date can be disastrous. If your date involves going to a popular restaurant or event, do yourself a favor and make reservations ahead of time.
