  1. Do Not Let Minors Cook Unattended Without An Adult- No minor should be cooking at home without the supervision of an adult. Too many things or distractions can happen that could put the safety of the child and your home in danger.
  2. Never Leave The Kitchen While Frying Food- I do not care how many years of cooking experience you have. You should never leave the kitchen area when you are frying food. It only takes seconds for a grease fire to get out of control and catch your house on fire. Please, stay in the kitchen until you have finished cooking.
  3. Before Lighting A Fire In The Fireplace, Make Sure The Chute Is Open- If you never had a fireplace in your home, you may not know to do this. Inside the fireplace should be a lever that allows you to open and close the chute. If you are not sure if it is open or closed please ask someone for assistance.
  4. Never Plug Too Many Items Into A Wall Socket- Never plug-in adapters that will allow you to turn two sockets into multiple sockets. You never want to plug too many items into a socket. It can overload the circuit and cause a fire.
  5. Do Not Plug In Items With Damaged Power Cords Into The Wall Socket- I do not care how bad you want to use…
