- Stop eating out. $8 dollars here $11 dollars there will start to add up quick if you are visiting fast food restaurants on a regular basis. Figuring out how to cook more meals at home will keep more cash in your pocket.
- Cut the cord on that high cable bill. I used to have DirectTv with over 200 channels and I maybe only watched 5–10 of those channels on a regular basis. There are a lot of streaming options out there now that can save you money.
- Use coupons. This could come in hand when it comes to grocery shopping.
- Cut back on the high fashion clothes and go with the middle fashion options. If you’re trying to save money do you really need a $50 T-Shirt?
- Stream that movie at home instead of going to the movie theater. A typical movie theater ticket is priced around $15. Add a date and snacks and your bill will start to climb. A lot of movies are now coming out on streaming services at home.
- Wash and iron your own clothes. A lot of us love the convenience of being able to drop our clothes off and have someone else wash and iron them. Of course that comes with a bill. To do it yourself all you need is a washing machine, dryer, ironing board, iron and time.
