The Process And How I Felt After Getting The Shot

- I scheduled to get my Pfizer Bivalent Covid-19 booster shot online on the Walgreens website. There were plenty of time slots at the local Walgreens near me to pick and schedule my appointment.
- I arrived at Walgreens at my scheduled appointment time, and there where three people ahead of me waiting to take their shot. When you arrive, the doctor will give you a form asking the basic questions such as your name, if you have recently felt any symptoms of having covid and a few other medical questions. Also make sure to bring your current covid-19 card. The doctor will need to sign and date it verifying that you got the updated booster shot. They will also ask for your insurance card so make sure you have that handy. The covid booster shot is free, but they still needed to record my information.
- After completing the form, I had to wait maybe 15 minutes before it was my turn to get the shot.
- The doctor asked which shoulder I would like to receive my shot, and I chose my right shoulder.
- I got my booster shot at 12:30pm. Around 7 pm, I started to feel a little tired. I figured it was due to the vaccine, because I never feel sleepy that early in the evening.
